Why It Matters
In multilingual and refugee settings, language is not just a tool — it's a lifeline. When people can't understand or be understood, they face exclusion from education, healthcare, legal protection, and economic opportunities.
GOFRIL Foundation's Language Consulting Program exists to bridge those gaps, promote inclusion, and unlock opportunities by offering translation, interpretation, and language learning that serves both individuals and institutions.
Areas of Focus
Translation & Interpretation Services
Providing professional, accurate language support for individuals, NGOs, government agencies, churches, and legal processes.
Language Education & Literacy
Delivering language classes (English, French, Swahili, Chichewa, etc.) for youth and adults to improve communication, academic performance, and employment readiness.
Multilingual Community Support
Facilitating access to services through language mediation in hospitals, schools, refugee camps, and courts.
Capacity Building & Volunteer Training
Equipping bilingual community members with skills in translation, interpretation ethics, and cross-cultural communication to serve as local language leaders.
Language is power — and through this program, we help people access services, engage in education, and connect with their communities. Whether it's a refugee learning English, a mother receiving care in her own language, or a volunteer interpreting in court — every word counts.
